Shannon Smith-Crowley

President

Shannon Smith-Crowley has worked for more than 20 years in various positions related to health law, medicine and managed healthcare.  In her prior position as a lobbyist with the California Medical Association, Ms. Smith-Crowley focused on managed care, physician liability and reproductive health issues. 


Beginning in 2004, Ms. Smith-Crowley formed her own lobbying firm, Partners in Advocacy.  Her focus is on health care advocacy and women’s issues.  Current clients include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists – District IX (California), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking.


She holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of California Santa Cruz, a Masters in Health Administration through the University of Southern California School of Public Policy in addition to her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
